You cite as an example the three senators who worked on a compromised bill, but their work cut a lot of necessary funding (40 billion for state aid, as nearly every state is facing deficits and will have to cut a lot of jobs at the service levels) and didn't even touch the oh-so-precious tax cuts.<BR/><BR/>I'm with the guys on <A HREF="http://www.balloon-juice.com/?p=16770" REL="nofollow">Balloon Juice</A>: how can there be bipartisanship when one of the parties is insane? The Republicans want only tax cuts, tax cuts and tax cuts (just look at the DeMint proposal).
