It's already here. The report http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2009/11/23/2134917.aspx has some guy named Jim Bopp pushing a list of 10 principles for the RNC to use in determining which candidates should deserve their financial backing in 2010 (they'll need to pass 8 out of 10 for a B average, uh funding from the Club For Greed).
It ain't the Contract with America. It's totally a Contract on Moderates. Check Sullivan's response here http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2009/11/the-gops-ten-commandments.html
Bopp is, by the way, the guy who pushed for the RNC to officially rename Democrats the "Democrat Socialist Party" in such a blatantly partisan move that even fellow conservatives had to walk the language back.
According to Bopp's list, despite how he claims this is how Saint Ron would have wanted it, Reagan himself would not pass the litmus test (failing on Points 1, 5 and 6).
